Default Smoke machine?

Just wondering what type of shop is likely to have a smoke machine to check my motor for vacuum leaks. I'm trying to avoid randomly calling around to find one, if I can. Thanks.

Use some ether and spray around your vacuum lines and gaskets.

Most likely a dealer or a shop that does ALOT of emissions related repairs. They are very expensive do the average shop most likelt won't have one.

Thanks for the replies, folks. I've tried spraying various things (never ether though) all around the appropriate areas, but have come up with nothing. Does ether work where other sprays fail? Can the average person even buy ether?

I'm still trying to troublshoot this rough idle of mine. When I first got my car, I dedicated like six months, and lots of cash, to finding it, but came up with nothing. It has been suggested that my cam is stock. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot the lope...considering that I've replaced/adjusted/tested everything that you cats can think probably of that might be related?
