Default Help w/ Strange 10 Ways

I was just wondering if anyone has thrown on a set of Strange 10 ways in the rear with a bone stock suspension and what happened. I put mine on two days ago and now I just spin more lol. Before I could stall the car to about 1700 and just chirp a little bit when I hit hit the gas (its an auto) but now I stall up to 1700 and I just spin for like 20 feet It is because Im transferring weight better and Im just not catching traction? I have it set on "drag" which is 4-5. Any comments?

I know alot of folks run them on 2 at the track. Give that a try.

Two is worse than 4-5.

Ohh.... yea the front are setup different. I remember reading that on the directions.

Anyone have anything else to comment on? Would you guys agree that its maybe transferring the weight a little better which is causing me to just loose more traction? This is also on a set of garbage 225 rear tires...

Well, if you are transferring weight better, it should really spin less. For the best drag setup, you want the front to raise and lower slowly and the rear to be stiff.

have you tried them on all the various settings and seen if one is better/worse than another? i'd say time to bust out the CC and get some DR's and mount them on an old set of wheels or your current ones[8D]!

I have tried running them on basically 2, 4, 5 7, 8, 10. Basically it seems like the lower I go in the numbers the less traction I get... as for the shocks in the directions it says: 4-5 Drag Race; 6-7 Street ; 8-9 Road Race

I think I mean its not a big deal but another thing Im worried about is hitting bumps at high speeds (110-120). I dont want it to be unstable you know....

you are most likey losing traction due to better weight transfer....mine are at 1 in front and 5 in the back...i have bfg d/r's 275's and they spin also....kinda bald now lol!
