Trick Flow kit w/ SC??
Well as some of you know I was going to get a fastback but decided not to so I'm keeping my 5.0 and wait later for the fastback. Still searching for a real estate to buy so don't want a car payment.
Anyways, I'm still working on my 5.0 so I was thinking how would the Trick Flow top end kit work with an super charger (Vortec, Paxton, etc...)???? |
RE: Trick Flow kit w/ SC??
The track heat or pro street kit would support a s/c very well, the pro street kit is carb so you'd need a carb hat for the s/c, the nice thing about the trickflow kit is that for $2250, you get everything you'll need, heads, cam, upper/lower intake, gaskets, timing chain, rockers, pushrods, the only thing you need are lifters! Or else you could go with AFR 185's and customize the top end to your liking! I personally think the vortech SQ trim is a great s/c for the price, warranty and quality! It'd go well with the trickflow top end in my opinion. :)

RE: Trick Flow kit w/ SC??
^^ Yeah, that what I was thinking. The kit comes with the works except lifters which isn't a big deal I can buy that. The kit puts down like 280 to 300 to the rear wheel and with a SC (Vortec is what I was thinking too) I should be in the 350+ hp to the rear. I hope!
Any other opinions are appriciated. Thanks! |
RE: Trick Flow kit w/ SC??
Im going with a street heat (only using it because I got it dirt cheap), custom grind and TW's (might go with ported TW's from Fox Lake) with a Novi 1000 w/ crank pulley and an anderson power pipe... good for 450rwhp and 10-11psi.
