i live near this so i could actualy go pick it up, and ive been wanting to do do a 351 swap sense my motor is about wore out.

Im not sure what the difference between a car motor and a boat motor is. You should look into that because this is a boat motor youre looking at.

There is no difference in the block... that I know off. Unless the block was machined for boating parts but Im not even sure about that. Find out. If you can use it for a car with no problems that $250 wouldnt be that bad of a price. Just remember, usually you can pick up just a block for $100 bucks or so online or at a junkkyard.

I would probably get it. Machine work isnt cheap add that to the cost of the block itself, looks like a pretty good deal

im pretty sure 99% that marine and street motors are the same the just get cooled in a diff way the still use a water pump but they get the water from the river or lake or waht ev and they suck it in through the outdrive/prop assembly

+1 you are basically right. the major difference in marine and automotive engines are the cams. just different specs.

If you can get it for 200 $ i'd definatly get it. It is already machined, so thats a good deal. I say go for it.
