They are good, as long as you get it from a good builder / dealer. Did you have any in mind? How much you looking to spend?

Try these guys: http://www.tandlengines.com

id only fool with a local machine shop, even if it was my block coming out my car to him for mods.

If I had a decent camera, Id show you how these guys TAKE THIER TIME and precision is a key factor.

There is not a spot of dirt anywhere. I watched as they did this 347 stroker block and used 3 different torque wrenches just to verify torque.

And after one machinist was done, another checked over his work to verify. Id never get a motor from a dam assembly line

why three tq wrenches...most machine shops send out there tq wrenches for certification every 3 mo's,and most use two types

assembly lines for 302's were built pretty damn good.

I just dont want some hourly low paid kid assembling my block or some mexican getting paid low wages.

Ive seen a few have bad problems, and mislooked tolerances.

what 10yrs ago?....the dies that were bought from ford only have a certain life span before new inserts are needed..

i had been a die changer for 6yrs and at most they only last 8000 shot's and iv'e seen some last 500.
