not for street because we you stop (at idle) so does the fan so you can over heat your engine pretty easily I would just get a flex-a-lite fan you may lose a little hp but atleast you wont over heat.

my Flexilite Black Magic fan doesn't stop unless I turn it off, so why do you say it stops while car is idling? Doesn't make any sense to me.
agree with NOS that the stock setup is best for the street too.

Well I have a Black Magic Fan. It works great my setup is a Ford Racing Aluminum Radiator with the Black Magic Electric Fan. It works great keeps the engine cool. My driving environement is some stop and go Traffic and Freeway, keeps it at about 190 all the time in this desert heat. Frees up some HP and on the fan it has a thermostat so you can regulate when it turns on/off or you can put a relay switch to turn it off/on when you please. It keeps it nice and cool when I'm street racing also.

then nos ..I bet you have a 1 row alum..as a big 2 row will keep it cool you might have to drill some 1/2 holes in the nose piece and take out that f/glass reinforce bumber
are you using a 170-180 stat?

yes my car is stock(at the moment) and i do alot of street driving, but i hhave an engine that i just got and im going to build it over the winter. i was going to reaplce the stock fan, and underdrive pulleys at the same time, and i have had to many problems with the fan clutch design, for some reason my fan clutch went out and i didnt know it was that until i replaced 4 water pumps and like 6 gasket sets. so i just want to eliminate the problem before it ever happens again. why would it be bad for street applications??
