Default Getting a Grand National

Guys..........I just can't take it anymore.

I have had this car for a year and poured 3K in it and its still a mid 14 car at best........(payed 4500 for car plus the 3K)
Granted 1300 went to the trans rebuild but I just have not gotten the bang for the buck? I have 4.10s, C & L 76 Maf, long tube headers with H pipe, rebuilt trans with B & M street strip shift kit, new everything..........

I have a buddy that has a 1987 Grand National that Hauls Azzzzzzz! His car is slightly modded and runs low 13s.........can be in the 12s for cheap.

Anyone disagree?

I know a few more MODs and I could be in the 13s but this car is already in the MId 13s....................12s are easy to get

Its up to you man. Grand nationals are turbo, and yes, they are fast as hell. But there is always gonna be cars that are faster than yours. And sn95's are pigs, heavy as all get out. And your mods arent all that great,I wouldnt expect that much out of it, your maf is too big, and LT's are not necassary at all. Really the only thing helpin you alot there is gears.

You can sometimes find a Regal T Type for a decent price. They have the same turbo 3.8 but are tuned down a bit. With some work theyre as good as GN's.
