RE: TWIN TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER???
Numbers sound a little high to me... I have seen people with track heats, custom grinds and out of the box tw's with 10psi run about 450rwhp. And thats with a custom blower cam too.

RE: TWIN TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER???
I used a HP-Boost calculator to get a rough estimate. Were they running any sort of intercooler? I ran teh same exact numbers I used for my results, except I ran it without an intercooler and came up with 449 HP, which is pretty close to the number you listed. (all based on an initial 285 RWHP which is what people seem to get from a good H/C/I upgrade or the TFTW kit.

technically turbos process high PSI more efficiently... at the 5 PSI range there isn't a big difference

I prefer a twin screw or Centrifigal(sp?) because there's no lag.
But eveyone knows turbo's make WAY more power than SC's to deny it is foolish.
I guess it depends on what you're doing with your car....for street....I'd opt for SC. if you're going to the track all the time...I'd go twins with a shot of spray to compensate for the second or so of lag.
