Default NOS and Carb?

I'm thinking of installing a 125 shot NOS system on my 85 GT. I know I need to pump up the amount of fuel delivered to the carb but I'm having a hard time finding a mechanical fuel pump that will fit the 5.0L. I would rather not use a electric pump if possible. I tried the Edelbrock fuel pump but the body of the pump hits the timing chain cover. The Holley fuel pump looks to be the same size as the Edelbrock. Anyone here run into this problem and what did you do to rectify it?

Default RE: NOS and Carb?

To do n20 the right way you really should run a seperate fuel system for the n20 system. That way the kit can be tuned to perform the safest and still give you max power.
