Polish and port stock intake and selling??? Worth it

I have no plans for using my stock 5.0 HO upper and lower and I'm considering porting and polishing it? Would it be worth the time and effort to do that and put it up for sale? Are there any good how-to articles on polishing metal?

you mean polish like making it shiny right? If you find a tech article, let me know because I am doing it to my stock intake too... just for experience and if it comes out decent I will sell it for a few bones.

To polish metal like chrome you first need to make it smooth. Then buff with different grades of compounds. Check out Eastwood fourms under buffing/metal finishing. You can also google aluminum polishing and find alot of info.
