Cobra GT?

RE: Cobra GT?
The only real Fox Cobra was in 1993.
It is exactly the same as the US GT's except for the sticker on the back of the hatch that said Cobra.
It doesn't have any snakes on it either.
A guy at work was telling about his fox mustang Cobra. I was pumped until I asked if it was a 1993. He said no, 1987. I didn't have the heart to explain it to him.

RE: Cobra GT?
Ford used the Cobra name on GT's in Canada to hold on to the Cobra trademark. If a car company doesn't use a name, they lose the rights to it after so many years. That's exactly what happened to them with the GT-40. The Ford GT was supposed to be the GT-40, but Ford didn't use it after the original stopped production. A company in England picked up the name and Ford was SOL when they came out with the new car. As previously stated, there's no difference between a Canadian Cobra and the same year GT in the States other than the badge.
