Default New Combo

Ok, so the car is sleeping for the winter. Now It's time to order parts. Here is my combo i'm working on getting:

AFR 165 Heads
TFS Stage 1 Cam
Edelbrock RPM II Intake
Summit 1.7 Roller Rockers

I was wondering what parts I will need for the heads? Lifters, Pushrods ect. and what brand would be good with the combo?

Anything else you know I would need would be helpful.. thanks.

Well I want to keep it N/A for now to work on the suspension/drivetrain. I'm wondering can i use my stock lifters or should I get new ones. Also what length pushrods. After all thats done I will get a custom cam made for a supercharger....

I have heard to ALWAYS change your lifters when changing the cam, plus, why not? Its all apart anyway.

the best thing to do is buy an adjustable pushrod length checker (its a tool that summit carries) and build your motor without any pushrods in it. then use the adjustable checker to find out exactly how long your pushrods need to be, then order the right ones to fit your application

Summit Pushrod length tool
