Default My new (to me) Porsche 944

Alright, so I told you guys I've gotten rid of the Mustang, but I'm still gonna hang out here because deep down, Mustangs are my true passion and always will be. Anyway, I wanted to post up a pic of my Porsche so here it is. Sorry it looks so dark and the car looks kinda dirty, its been raining here for the past 3 days. Also, look at that Escort in the background....bought it for a daily driver for $250 and everything works, even the A/C!

You are in the wrong forum with that volkswagon. Take that over to the V W forums.
Sorry but you sure are going to miss your 5.0. Have fun.

Relax, newbie.

I like German cars too...except the new ones. I dig Porches a lot. I like sitting on my front Porch and drinking whiskey. But seriously, nice car. How does the Porsche feel power-wise, compared to your 5.0? A couple years ago, I went Porsche shopping (actually, I was Mustang shopping, but the sales guys tried to get me into a Porsche). I had made friends with these guys at a place called "The Car Gallerie" out here in Socal, and they had a bunch of older 944s sitting around the lot. I drove them all...even the ones I couldn't afford...but couldn't find one with any real power. It didn't help that I had just given up a '97 Cobra two days prior (due to some bank issues). Does yours run pretty good?

Oops, I lied. All the Porsches I drove were 911s.

I'll always love Mustangs, they'll always be my favorite. I'll have another one again, next time I wanna buy a notchback though, but, I'll prolly keep this Porsche stock.

Yeah, it runs good, ain't got too many miles on it for an 88 (138,xxx). Of course, power wise it isn't anything on par with my 5.0 . I don't plan on driving this car much, like I said, that red Escort you see in the background of the pic is gonna serve as my DD, hell, can't beat it for only $250.
