Default Head X-Over Tube

When I did my motor swap way back in feb of last year, I swapped over alot of stuff from my old motor onto the new one. The crossover tube on the back of the heads (firewall side) was completely clogged with a whole buncha shiz. I'm pretty sure its used for emissions. Does anyone know what it's called? What's the best way to clean that stuff out do you think? I tried for a little while and had to pick it out with a screwdriver, it was thick...

I had this same problem with my 91 gt when I did the motor. I had a gallon can of Gunk carb cleaner from the auto parts store and soaked the tube in there and used a coat hanger and rodded all the carbon out.

I took mine off, cut the tube between the 2 blocks off of it and braized the blocks shut and bolted it back on and said done. but then again i didnt use the emission stuff anyways.
