NEW numbers and VIDEO

OK, I went to the dyno. it was a Mustnag Dyno. Which is approx. 10-15% less than a dyno Jet. I put down 264/294. thats approx 302/335 on dyno jet, or 363/402 at the crank. But, the most important thing is the a/f curve is PERFECT! it sits at 13.4 or 13.5 the who run through any gear! The guy who did it is the man. I am very happy with the numbers. OH, and to beat all, when I sprayed the car, it went lean on me. Its like it wasn't getting the fuel spike it needed. I might have a vacume hose leak or something. Oh well, its something to work on this winter. I am gonna replace all my vacume hoses and such so I know there are no problems. I got a vid of the last run on motor on my myspace page. the url is www.myspace.com/onebad5oh

OK, are those #'s on or off the spray? I hope off

yeah, def. off spray. The spray effed up. The one run I started to spray, I let into her about 3 grand, and then it went lean shortly there after. I let out at 4 grand. but, the numbers there were 319hp/426 tq. but only for 1000 rpms. I will fix whats up with it, and go to my local dyno and ru it and see whats up. I got to check into why it wasn't spiking the fuel pressure first.

Sounds great Merrill. Hopefully so. Def. let me know what you pulled. I got on it real hard when I left the dyne, and it felt SO powerful. Way better than before. I had idling problems that he fixed, and it runs sooooo much smoother. Its freakin GREAT. can you tell I'm happy? hehe.

Tagging on to your post, but what makes the difference between a mustang dyno and a standard dyno? Does it just measure the powerband differently, Elaborate?:D
No prob on the tagging. The mustang dyno is different from the dyno jet beacuse it puts the weight of the car on the rollers. ex: dyno jet rollers weigh 2000 lbs. if you had a civic, it would be great. But, a mustang weighs moe, so it actually looks like its got more power. but its all relative to weights of the rollers.Ususally dyno jet tuned cars are tuned to run rich on the dyne so when its actually on the street, it will even out, but they never work right that way. When your on a MD, its like your driving on the street with your car because you are actually trying to turn your cars weight on the rollers. He adjusts the weight when you get on there. Usually, MDs are 10-15% numbers wise less than dyno jets. I pulled 264/294 RW#s on MD. So I take those and multiply by 1.14( thats the dyno jet diff. where I am from. each dyno jet is different tho) I get 302/335 RW#s on dyno jet . Ok, then I multiply that by 1.20(20% drivetrain loss in my TKO 600) and get 365/402 at the crank. you understand better now bud?
