I have only driven a stick a couple times though. would this be a good way to learn or should i find a friend and learn on his car =P

I'm confused. With a shift kit it's still going to shift by itself. With the manual valve body it will be easy because there's no clutch.

Depending on the brand shift kits cost between 50.00-150.00, and if you have any mechanical ability you can do it yourself

just so u know ur car isnt a 5 speed (check ur sig)

shift kit and install will probably be around $500 depending where you live some got it done cheaper some havent. depends who you know

I dont know, but if you lived near me I'd do it for beer and pizza. It's easy to install. Hardest part is drilling through the trans case for the OD delete wires.

thats a nice suggestion Jeff but i sure as hell wouldnt let someone drill on my tranny[sm=bangbang.gif] who i didnt know or know was a certified mechanic, especially if he was gonna do it for pizza and beer. On the other hand if i knew ya and knew you did good work that would be a heluva deal!
