Vacuum (edit) hose routing

Vacuum (edit) hose routing
Hi guys- new to this forum. I (my son) has recently aquired an '83 that has been bouncing around my family for ~ 20 years. Someone has removed ALL of the vacuum tubing from the engine compartment. I have a Chiltons, but the picture for the routing doesn't have a lot of information as to where the hoses go. Can someone with an '83 5.0 high output take some pics of their engine compartment with the routing and either post or e-mail them to me? It would be much appreciated. Since we got it, we have replaced the rear brake cylinders, changed out the starter, replaced the battery cables and the parts for the trans rebuild should be here today or tomorrow. Second gear synchro is shot. And so it begins. Cheers, Mike.

RE: Emission hose routing
Let me get this straight...you want to...put the emissions back on it? Just kidding- sorry I don't have any help on the routing as mine didn't have anything on it when I got mine either. Only thing I can say is go to a junkyard and pop the hood on one and write down where everything goes, then go buy the hoses at a parts store.

RE: Emission hose routing
You're right. I should have clarified. What hoses do I need to help the car run better? It wouldn't run at all until I put the hose from the plate under the carb back on. Aren't there some that control vacuum advance and warm up and stuff like that? Cheers, Mike.
