The common problem I found is its just so damn fun to drive (topless of course) I bought my '85 a little over a month ago and I've already put nearly as many miles on it as I did my Saleen over the entire summer [8D]

Their good cars. Iv never had a mechanical problem with either of mine, and both were/are daily drivers. You say your not gonna mod it now, but you will...you will. They respond VERY well to mods.

As mentioned, any problem typical to older cars could crop up. The only common problems I've heard are tranny issues and the ashtray lid not staying closed.

I thought 87-88 were MAF and 89,90,91 were Speed Density cars... Anyway, I really don't want to mod this thing. I still have my little Rocket for speed, I want a nice convertible for cruising around with the top down. And what better a car than an American Classic Icon
nope, its the other way around. 87-88 were speed density, 89+ are maf

The Door Handles suck on foxes from my experience and like 88blackgt said, the armrest is easily broken, but other than that I'm happy.

Hey Adder, I've been meaning to ask...who is the girl in your avatar? She doesn't look like the pic you posted of your GF.
