well your car wont be "dead" since you DID decide to go with a TFS1 cam... but, myself personally.... id get them bitched decked... it doesnt cost much ($45 per head where i go) then the price of some new gaskets....

so you could do it up for about $100-$150

I guess what I'm asking is, will I see a increase over the e7s and stock intake with the 40's(not decked) and the explorer intake

you should, especially with that cam, but not as much as you would see if you got those babys decked.... depending on your PTV clearances, you might be able to have them taken down a little further and raise your compression up past 9:1 (slightly)

96-97.5 had the 3 bar Gt40's. 97.5-01 used the P heads (4 bars). They switched mid-year due to more stringent emissions requirements.

The Exploder intake should work well...it flows similar to a Cobra intake.

I heard that P's raise the compression a bit........Hmmm......

I'll post up my dyno sheet after i get it done. A ton of guys hit the 300 rwhp mark with P heads, i just wish i wouldof got my heads ported now....
