I've been thinking about it for awile and thought, "what the hell, why not?" I'm talkin about synthetic oil. I've heard you'll get like 5-10 horse power out of it and it will run better. and it's only like $20 more than regular oil. All you do is drain the old oil out and just put synthetic in it, right? What kind do I get? I don't know anything about synthetic anything.

About those HP# there a bit to high you might see a few HP but no more then 5.

I just swithed to mobil 1 synthetic an i have 91k an it runs excellent!!! No leaks or oil consumption. And it runs alot smoother.

MOBIL 1 is the only oil you should use. or well thats my opinion

Yeah, you can just drain the old oil and put the synthetic in. There's no harm in switching from one to the other, either way...hell, you can mix the two if you want...no harm is possible, contrary to what some say. If you develop leaks or the car starts burning too much oil, just switch back to regular. I may do the same, just to see what happens.
