i was going to put a 351w into my 95 mustang but the guy backed out on that deal. now i have the opportunity to get an explorer motor. i was wanting to know if the bottem end that i have would work better that the explorer block or are they the same. i know that they have gt-40 heads and intake. i was going to put them on my car right away, so i could rebuilt the new motor. are the pistons the same? what are the horsepower ratings on the explorer motor? thanks for any help.

ok so the heads need to be decked, and the intake will be fine to go on to my mustang block? the explorer is a 97

you can find 351w every where Im thinking bout it for my second projectmuch better block that the 302 and if you can find a mexican 351w dont let it go stronger than the rest
