Youre mechanic is highly retarded and I'd probably bring it to another shop after hearing that. I've got a 3000 rpm torque converter and it runs like a bat out of hell with it. Don't let anyone talk you into anything less than a 3000 rpm torque converter dude. And don't get one out of the box, get it custom built.

ok well i found out why the mechanic doesnt think we shoudl put it in....he says its hard on the engine ...and the engine wont last as long if we did put the 3000stall in so i guess ill just go with the 2200 stall like he said...

Wasnt there jsut a thread about a guy who got a lower stall speed because it was "recommended" by a mechanic, and he was highly dissappointed. Wasnt his stall speed like 2600 also. After reading that post i would highly recommend going with at least a 3000

yeah i know..but my dads the one whos talkin to the mechanic so w/e he says goes...lol and i can always upgrade after i fix up my engine a little more......h/c/i will prolly be one of my first expensive mods..
