Default Sorry about this, but its an LS1 question

Ok,

I know you guys are a lot more mechanically inclined, that a few other forums out there. I've asked around for help on some ls1 specific forums and found myself to always come up short on answers or get flamed out of this world.

Once again I'm sorry to ask this on a Ford enthuiest forum, but I know you guys can help me.

When I take the trans-am up to around 5k rpms and then I shift and go up to 5k again the clutch pedal will end up getting stuck on the floor, and I have to sit there and pop it out with my foot. I've heard plenty of things, I heard it could be the master cylinder, slave cylinder, the clutches pressure plate, or some kind of hydraulic line, so my question is does anyone know what it is exactly? If it were the mustang I'd buy the majority of the parts for it and just start all of the clutch stuff over, but I'd rather not spend much money on this car and save everything for my mustang.

Thanks everyone.
