i'd rather slap a KB blower on top of my motor with some forged pistons, instead of buying an 03/04 cobra....
i mean cmon... EVERYONE knows that those things are fast as hell.... whos gonna expect it from an old steed like mine?

i have the best of both worlds the 5.0 and the terminator. there is no way i could ever sell either of them. i was supposed to sell my fox when i got the cobra but that just didnt happen.

Ford should of never invented the POS. 4.6 or V-6 into a stang , but rather brought the 5.8 back to life. Modular or Pushrod, I wouldnt of cared.

i would say the cobra. you can buy a decent running fox for dirt cheap, so you could always pick one up again if you missed it that much. power just comes so easy and they look so amazing its crazy. on top of that they look MEAN. foxes can look mean, but an 03/04 cobra is a completely different type of mustang. an 03/04 cobra would probably one of the only cars i would consider getting rid of my fox for, but i think would do it. foxes are so easy to find for cheap, you can always pick one up later.

I dunno, if I could have a sick stroker blown in a NOTCH, maybe, but honestly, a stock 04 cobra puts down 400+ afaik, and with around $1000 you can add 100hp, its kind of hard to argue with. My buddy bought his yellow 03 cobra for 19k, w/ 31k on it, it was stupid fast before, but he just put a KB on it and its a whole new fast, stock block too, he's pushing 700 and had no issues so far.

I can tell you this, I've had them all from a 66 to an 06 and I can tell you that I would no doubt rather have a FOX body. I like the new Mustang, but it just doesn't compare to the feeling that I get when I get into a FOX body. The 66, I had to put a fuel injected 5.0 in it before I was happy with it, and I'm fixing to get reasy to sell it so that I can get another FOX Gt.
Me, If I had to have a terminator, I would just get the motor and swap it into the FOX body. Much., much better integrety. I'm not really a fan of the body style of the 99-04 Mustangs, oh yeah I forgot, you can swap the IRS into the FOX with little effort.
