thats what I was about to say stinger. roller cams don't develop a wear pattern and new roller lifters arent needed unless one is physically damaged. Just be sure to put the lifters back in the same bore they came out of, and as for buying a used cam - its likely fine as long as its a low mileage unit (cam bearing journals still wear) - just be sure to mic it to be sure its within spec if its used... and once again like stinger said don't waste your time putting in a stock used cam when there are so many cheap good cams that would add 20 - 30 hp to your stang

Thanks guys. I really dont know a thing about cams so im glad you guys are helping. But i have another question, I didnt think the foxes had roller cams?

all the 5.0 HO engines had roller cams, GT's have had roller cams since '85 I think
