RE: electric fan
i've done it.
you need:
1. 30 amp automotive relay from Radio Shack.
2. 30 amp automotive circuit breaker
3. some thick 10 guage wire
4. some thin 16-18 gauge wire
5. a toggle switch if you want to turn it off
........ if not it will be on at all times the key is on which is not a problem
Wires on Fan:
Its wierd, the green one is your + power, the two black ones are grounds.
one black wire will be high speed, the other is low, play with it by touching your ground
and hot wire back and forth, we got a little spark first time we got it wrong
so just swapped it around and fan came right on.
use good connectors and good grounds everywhere
try and keep it clean.
Here's a pic of how to wire it up.
We used a fuse marked for the radio in the fuse panel
and just tapped the small wire for the relay on/off signal into its slot.

RE: electric fan
you need enough wire to run around the inside of engine bay.
say 12' or so more than enough.
MarkVIII fans has a high speed and a low speed setting.
mess with the two grounds to figure out which one will make it go in high speed
then dont use the other.
we just hooked up one of the black wires, not sure if its on high or low
but it cools the car nicely and blows like a *****.
just play with touching your ground and hot wire to the 3 wires
to get the fan blowing in the right direction and speed.
it'll spark a little and nothing will happen if you do it wrong.
remember you want it blowing back towards the engine and sucking
thru the radiator.
