Default Soft shiftin'

O.k guys maybe this is a dumb question but.....I have a 92 GT and when I "get on it" the shifts are on the mild side. They are really tame and soft feeling. The car is all stock. I was wondering is this something that a programmer can correct or is this something that only a shift kit or new tranny will fix. I don't have very much to invest but I would like to tighten up the shifts a bit. It's an auto btw. Thank you in advance for the help.

Three options to fix that:

Shift Kit

New Valve Body

Adjust TV

Tightening the TV cable does wonders. I tightened mine up before I got my stall (softens up the shifts a bit due to the higher stall) it felt like it wanted to chirp the tires. Check your tranny fluid also, I'd go get it flushed also if I were you.

My next mod is going to be a valve body, I'm going to call TCI tomorrow and see what they say about the streetfighter VB.
