The guy I am talking about is a cop. I believe he can at least push the pedal to the floor and hold it there. The car has nothing done to it. I didn't know that factories still did things like that though. My car has to stay streetable for interstate driving. Grears really worry me when it comes to that. I cannot afford a HCI swap. This is why I was hoping a shot of nitrous with some rear suspension to help hook everything. keep coming with the advice. The right combination is getting close.

Your not going to be able to fit any heads or intake on a 86 pistons. They have no valve reliefs. A set of e7 heads, 1.7 rockers, and advancing the cam 4* is about the biggest upgrade you can do on a 86 piston. An intake manifold with that and maybe some suspension work you might hit 13's.

They come with 3.31 gears, 3.55 is an option. My 86 can beat a 06 Auto with 4.10's, a CAI, and diablo tune, flowmaster axelbacks. I have a 306, ported GT40P's, longtubes, 1.7RR's, weiand xcellerator intake edelbrock 600 carb, 3.73 gears and running on 205/50/15's that are so bald they don't even make a noise when you spin them.

in 05 they were an option in 06 they all come with 3.55's im pretty sure. my sister just bought a 06 blue auto, it has 3.55s in it.

if you do gears just change your od gear. like im going with 3.73s at 70mph im going to be turning like 2500-2800 rpms, i think somewheres around there anywas, so what im going to do is change my od gear from a .63 to a .59 so ill be turning around 1800.

I dont think you will be that high in the RPM's. I sold some parts to some guy a few months ago and he said with an auto and 4.10's he can keep it under 2,500 at 70-75. Not sure if hes just crazy though lol

I would like to put some GT40P heads with a cobra intake. Is the no way to put these on without putting valve reliefs in the pistons? I might be able to pull something during winter break if I don't have to. I found out that I need a new set of headers anyways so that doesn't bother me.

Only 2700 at 80? Where do you think your rpm's are at around 60 mph. The speed limit on most of US220 is only 55 mph.
