what does it matter when hes not going to be past 850 let alone a thousand with that engine, and kb you do not need an intercooloer less your at 14 or higher it runs cooler then you would think since its all ceramic, and they have tech info for the 5.0 kbs on there site. Id rather have my power through every rpm then the top half.

lol how do you know what he's putting into his motor, and there isnt this huge "lag" that people think comes w/ centrifugals. power under 2.5k is hardly used anyway when you're driving it hard

ORIGINAL: 88blackgt

KBs for 5.0s arent so great IMO theyre kinda junk compared to the other options
From this comment I can tell that you dont know what the hell youre
talkin about. The only SC that I would say is junk is a Powerdyne.
And yes there is such a thing as "BOOST LAG" in Centros. Thats
why alot of people prefer them. They figure its more efficient
to have the max boost build as the R's increase. Some of them are
scared that theyll blow their motors if they have full rated boost at
the stomp of the pedal. On that note Ill say this:
KB and any other SC(Except Powerdyne) is only as good as the
motor its bolted to.

i will agree with you on that. and the "afraid to blow the motor by having power at any rpm" is a little off, most motors are hurt on the top end. do you honestly think that a kenne bell is the best form of forced induction for a windsor motor for a quarter mile race? dont try and tell me i dont know what im talking about

I didnt say the best form of forced induction. If I said that
I would be talkin about TURBOS. They are the BEST IMO.
