Default Air Control

When i turn my heat or AC on it only blows thru the defroster. It does not switch to the vents. Where should i start checking to resolve this problem?

Does it go to the floor when you select floor? +1 on vacuum leak. I just went through this with mine and the yellow vacuum line came off the vacuum switch under the dash.

No, look up above the gas pedal and you'll see a bright yellow hose. Make sure that's hooked up. There's also a vacuum switch under the glove box which should have 4 or 5 vacuum tubes going to it. Make sure that all those are hooked up. Since it's not changing at all I'm leaning more towards a vacuum leak too. Check by the passenger side strut tower near the firewall and make sure that all those vacuum lines are hooked up. That's probably where it is.

That would suck, then I think you'd have to pull the dash.
