Default 4.10's in AOD

Hey I was wondering what would be a reasonable price to pay, to take my car to the shop and have them order and put 4.10's in my 1990GT w/AOD? I dont wanna get raped. I also dont have the tools or expertise to do it myself.

$200-$300 for labor. cant remember what gears go for but check around and buy them yourself. more then likely the shop will mark them up. while you got some one back there, have them rebuild your trac loc, or better yet throw in a locker. the trac loc rebuild is only $50 on summit.

after the gears, look into getting a high stall converter and a new valve body for the tranny. either manual or just a shift kit. the tranny work and gears will be like having a whole new car
