Anyone know what this hose is? The one that looks like its about to crumble LOL

The hose to the left that is falling apart, it's also taped up with black tape and attached to white splitter/sensor...

The hose goes to your fuel tank vapor recovery canister. The part you are talking about is the canister purge regulater valve.

ok so that needs to be changed, that hose is falling apart! I know thats part of the emmissions. Will that affect anything if it leaks?

You should be able to replace it with fuel line. Probably 1/4 or 3/8's diameter.

Yeah it looks like i can cut the bad part out and replace that section. Will this affect my car if it's leaking? I'm going to the track this weekend [:-]
