How do you figure the GT40's weigh more? E7's only 20#'s? I want some of what you're smoking. E7's are 45-50#'s each, assembled. I ported mine and moved them back and forth and whatnot...I wish they were only 20 #'s. Aluminum heads weigh 20-25, so you do the math. Also the GT40's have bigger ports (i.e. less actual material).

So i never picked up a head before, and i was donin a HCI, i got the headbots off and went to pick that baby up, wow was i surprised, those are some haevy suckers.....When i got my P heads shipped to me it cost me like 75-80 $$ for shipping. I think all the cast heads should way about the same...

i got a set of e7's from a 90k mile gt...upper and lower stock mani w/ stock fuelrail and injectors, stock tb w/ icv and tps...stock pistons, rods(from the same 90k mile gt...lmk

With aluminum heads you drop about 40-60lbs over the iron e7s, if you combine them with AC delete and smog pump removal you can drop almost 100 pounds(a big difference)
