ORIGINAL: 5IVE.OH

mac shorties won't work with P heads. YOu need the FRPP shorties, or mac longtubes.
thats funny because i have gt40p's and i bought mac shorties specifically for my application. theyre supposedly an exact replica of the ffrp shorties

man, if people on this message board quit acting like they knew everything it would make the world a better place...

anybody else thats never touched a set of gt40p heads got some helpful info for 95walter?

with the gt40p h/c/i swap properly tuned you're gonna walk all over that new edge. it takes a full bolt-on new edge to gimme a run now.

fyi: if you don't get a tune after that swap your car is gonna run dangerously lean and probably surge at idle as well. the t4m0 computers in the sn95 5.0's are garbage. my car would backfire and shoot fireballs out my exhaust pipes when racing before i got it tuned. felt like a whole new car after the tune, picked up some much more hp it was ridiculous.
