I'm pretty sure we would know if that was the case, I think he would have let us know.
I would like to see one is real life. I still believe that an SD notch car would be the fastest fox body.

I dont know guys, the foxes were all the same except for the 93's. The 93's had 20 less HP on paper than previous models. I can try to find the article on it if you need me too, but again, that was on paper and I cant speak for sure as I have never been in a fox newer than 90.

That may be true...I've heard that they had a stronger low end, even though they make less torque on paper. Also, on paper, the 89-93 foxes are the same. The 87 and 88s had S/D fuel management, and a slightly different camshaft than the later foxes--except for the Cali 88s, which had MAF and that slightly different camshaft.

I have also heard that stock for stock the 86's were about the fastest except for the 93 cobra in the fox bodies. Don't know for a fact though. I know that mine feels pretty strong for a stock car.

Ohhh the 90-93 are heavier (the airbag ehhh...) and yes your friend maybe right about the 88 being faster, but the 87 would be equal because i have heard stock stangs with SD were slightly faster. I love my 87 Notch for it's power, and 90gt for its looks.
