what you are feeling is an imbalance in the drivetrain somewhere.
I have a tri-ax and its fine.

check your u-joints on the driveshaft, the harmonic balancer, or it could be something easy like a balancing weight falling off one rim.

you need to think of the shifter as a tool to shift the gears thats all it does, it wont cause any vibrations, it might make it feel like more vibration than with the stock shifter on, but the stock one was probably worn out and had some play in it to soak up some of the vibration you talk about.

I like my tri-ax and think it shifts nice. I bet you wont be happy with any shifter if you don't like that one

Go ahead and try a new ****er if you would like... Doesnt hurt to replace your u-joints, tranny mount, the crossbrace your mount sits on, and other stuff they listed its all relativly cheap. If your engine and tranny are shuttering that much you run the risk of fu*king up your water pump & fan, and your rear end among other things hope you get it solved soon!

BTW, if you wana get a new shifter ill buy your old triax
