I was wanting to get a cam for my 92 5.0 before I put the engine back together.(Out of car while it is getting painted) I have a pro products intake, AFR 165's, Accufab TB 75mm, MAF 70mm, UD pulleys, Im gonna try and have injectors too before I get it put back together. I want a cam that I will not have to machine the pistons or anything like that. I dont know if my rockers are 1.6 or 1.7. They were on the heads when I bought them. Any help would be great. Thanks

I would suggest either a e-303, TFS stage 1, or a comp cam with specs close to these: around a 220 duration @.050, .520 lift on int, and ex., and lobe sep of 112. that should be good. I am not sure of the comp cams numbers, but you could find cam specs on their web page i'm sure, or call ford racing tech line. They can assist you also. 1-586-468-1356 is their number. Those cams I listed are good street strip cams. You didn't tell us whether its a DD, or a strip only car or what. Plus, are you gonna add a power adder in the future you think?
