stupid mistake!!!!!

Default stupid mistake!!!!!

may have messed up my motor today. i hooked up the heat to the wrong intake hole/air side. and the number 8 cylinder got loaded up with water. when i started it it knocked 2ce then i shut it off.... i took out spark plug and let it drain and im changin oil tommrow...
hopefully nothin is mesed up

What did you do? Pump antifreeze directly into your intake port? I don't know if I would have told that...

im sure he was just frustrated and wanted to vent. Most people arent going to make fun of him for it. We have all made mistakes b4. Just 1 more reason to check, double check, and check again.

I wasn't trying to make ya feel bad, you did that yourself

Anyways about the car, if you wern't running a lot of rpms(just starting it right?) I think it will be fine. Roll it over with the plugs out to get the water out of the cylinder before you try and start it again

What kind of rods were your running? The only thing to be aware of is HYDROLOCK. If it DID happen, then you could have bent a rod and/or damaged the piston.

I also forgo to mention that you cannot compress water and that's what causes the damage.
