so you guys aren't saying that you CAN'T mod a a SD one like a 87 but it can just be more off a pain in the a$$ right?
and if done right a 87 or 88 can be just as good as any other one?

yep pretty much. you are gonna most likely have to swap to Mass Air tho if you want the modding to go easy without problems. If you keep it SD im not too sure how well it will take to modding, I have never done a SD car...
