Default differences....cobra/explorer lower

are there any differences between the lower intake from a cobra and an explorer.

ill tell you one big difference and why i couldnt use it, the ports on the lower intake are about a half inch or so more forward which is why i couldnt use it with a kb supercharger, it would throw the pulley too far forward and out of alignment. but if your not putting a kb just a gt 40 or explorer top on, it will be straight.

ok......then is there any difference between the gt40 intake and the cobra intake (upper)(port size....etc...)

not thati know of, im sure there is some little tiny difference in the runners to one since the cobra outflows a lil bit more, but mine is ported to all hell so i know its better then both non ported......still pissed i cant use it

The cobra upper flows better, also the gt40 off of the explorer intake i BELIVE has staggered ports so you have to machine heads to make them match up...
