Default Oil Coming Out of Cold Air?!?

I just purchased a 1990 GT Conv., 347, Holley Systemax Intake, Canfield heads, 70mm t/b, 75mm m/a, 30# inj., auto. There is an alarming amount of engine oil that runs out of the air filter. Could this be some sort of vac problem? Please Help!!!

Is there a vent hose from the valve cover/oil fill into the air intake system?
Sounds like your pvc is clogged, blocked, or non functional in some way.

If you take off the intake in the future make sure the guy who put that intake on put the baffle under the pcv valve, this will cause a lot of oil in the intake.

The guy I bought the car from said that he put a brand new PCV valve in to try to fix this problem. I work with him so I trust him and there was an old PCV valve in the box of parts he gave me. He couldn't remember exactly but he thought someone had told him that it had something to do with some sort of vacuum problem.

Thanks for the replies. I agree that there is more blow by with the 347 but this is quite a bit more oil than that. It is pretty alarming.

Is it an alarming amount like this first pic. If so then your problem is in the second pic.

That is exactly the amount. What was your fix? I am new to Ford and the Mustang but not new to engines. Just have been a Mopar and Chevy guy.
