Default Stock motor.. running RICH (have searched)

hey we got my motor put togther and dropped in tonight..
its an 88GT SD car and its running really rich..
right now its runnin open headers, and lopes like crazy..
its completely stock.. it shouldnt sound like this, the extra fuel is makin it idle goofy
its running SO rich it makes your eyes start watering really quick in the garage.. with the big door open even..
i dont know what to do..

just wanted to ad.. i thought maybe it might be my MAP sensor.. so i took one of off of my friend's perfectly running GT
and it does the same thing..

since my exhaust is dropped, and the 02's are not plugged in.. will it make that big of a difference?

when i dropped the exhaust, the factory pipes were so crappy and rusty, that the drivers side of the H-pipe fell apart basically

no exhaust means no back pressure so the unburned fuel is being sucked out a little back pressure will help in fuel scavaging

No b/c there is no way for the computor to read the fuel content in the exhaust. You'll have to fix it first.

s/d cars operate different than mass air ,but yes the s/d cars do go in a safe mode for lack of o2's
