All you need to scan the CEL on your car is a piece of wire, and the ability to count

There is an OBD II plug on the passanger side inside the car... I think it's there for the v6 model? It doesn't seem to be active on my car. I use the ODB I plug that is under the hood right behind the strut tower on the passanger side. It scans and gives me codes so I'm happy

well sort of I don't like the codes it gives me... but that's a different problem ;D

I dont mean for pulling codes, im talking about a dash mounted variable digital guage, that gives me reads like rpm, a/f ratio, temp, data logging and so fourth

and since no one answered, you can plug into the ODB I guages under the hood to get readings on stuff ;D... at least my scanner gives me all the info if I plug it in and run the engine
