Ford Racing's Supercharger?
Anyone have any thoughts on them? Anyone using there kit. How much potential boost? I basicly just need the supercharger, brackets, and piping. I already have all the fuel system stuff. If not Ford Racing, who else has good pricing?
Thanks

ford racing stuff generally is junk and over priced look into a VORTECK.

By the way, stick to centrifugal, roots is way too much work for not a lot of optional boost.

i say Procharger. comes with an intercooler, while with Vortech you have to pay and extra like $500 for their "aftercooler"......which is NOT an intercooler. but, i say Procharger imo. comes with EVERYTHING youd need too(plumbing wise)

FRPP makes a 6psi centrificual system. I know the kit is everything, encluding the injectors, pump and everything but I don't need all that. Is it called the tuner kit if all I need is the supercharger, brackets and piping? Vortech is the best but FRPP looked good just cause of the price.

RE: Ford Racing's Supercharger?
The Ford Racing 6lb kit I have doesn't come with injectors or a new pump, but the FMU handles the richness well enough with the stock 19lb injectors. I believe the HP gain is around 86 HP or 40% at the flywheel with this blower. Compression should be raised to around 12.5+ (stock is 9.1).
I think some people change the pulley to 9lb. to get more out of it but I 'd watch getting too crazy, and with that I'd go with 24lb injectors and bigger fuel pump.
I have pushed this blower hard at times and it performed very well for me. Whichever kit you do, I recommend opening up the exhaust-if you already haven't, bigger headers are a great idea.

The FRPP blower is only a powerdyne unit and yes it works considerably well at 9lbs.You can go to Powerdynes site to see if it's what you want.
