ok I was thinking of the head gasket. I have put them on upside down and took forever to find out why it got hot >>>> I call it a brain fa*t<<< cause i know better and f***ed up anyway.
What would happen? Would it slowly heat up after driving around or heat up rapidly?

okay maybe i'm stating the obvious here, but i'm hoping that you didnt do all of that on a gauge reading. if so, maybe you have a bad temp sending unit?

is your waterpump flowing good? maybe your waterpumps going bad if not that, check your radiator(it may be clogged) mine was and it was causing my car to run really warm.
