Default Did a compression test on my 84

I did a compression test on my 84 GT today i dont know the mileage of the car because the gauges were swapped out to a kilometers from the stock gauges but here are the numbers are they bad or good or what?

not very good there, pal. if your burnin oil, i'd maybe replace your rings and check for other damage the same time your in there.

With that kind of compression, how could he NOT be burning oil! One question, when running compression tests on cars, do you have to have the throttle wide open...like you do on bikes? I had a friend who once got low numbers when testing his bike. Then I tested it and the numbers were fine. Came to find out that he didn't hold the throttle open.
