Default carb or efi

alrite i think i mite just get a 351w and i was wondering if it i should get a carb or stick to efi and will a truck 351 work and will i need a cowl hood to fit it

what are your plans for the car? usually forced induction is easier w/ EFI, but it can be done w/ carb(blow through/draw through). carbed is usually cheaper if you're starting from scratch. carbed can be more maintenance w/ tuning it to the weather and everything. just a few things to consider

well i want to do only a few things cheapest way to the 11's afr 185's and intake w/ 351w and i was wondering would it be easy to drop efi on a 351

i would stay with carb its easier to make power with them and forced induction is very easy with carbed all you need is a roots blower

i have an 84 carb and its my daily driver. i live in new jersey so i get bad winters i have never had a problem with it never had to tune it for the winter actually you will be fine as long as you get a holley carb not an edlebrock i also drove home 8 miles in a blizzard with my car and didnt have to much trouble getting home which even i was surprised about

my father has a 390 with a holley and it takes time to warm up, now do u have heat and defrost in ur 84 b/c i dont care about a/c but i do want heat and defrost
