because i havent been able to find one. ive looked and there isnt one in decent shape
anywhere close to my area and i dont want to spend a crap load on shipping

why not just put another 84 front end on it?
yeah. just replace it with the same year.. or.. go to an 85-86 front nose.

it will be alot easier then splicing the headlight harness from an 87-93 to the harness of your 84. then you also have the added cost of getting a new hood for it cause the 84 hood wont work with the 87+nose. so by the time you are done scavaging parts.. and buying everything.. it might just be cheaper to buy the right nose off of ebay.. or a new repro of one. JMO.

well k i guess i could go to that im still a newb at this whole car stuff anyone else got some good ideas for visual mods?
my cars pretty mint its only got 85,000 original km on it

well then i guess i wont be meeting you half way sorry...go to cjpony parts web site i beleive the front end is like 159.00 ..not sure what shipping would be to you ,there out of texas..if you do convert remember youll have to change the hood and the headlight wiring..your header panel will work.
