1994 engine into a 1965

I got a good deal on a 1994 302 block and had a few questions. I plan on going with a carburated setup and I'm not using anything origninal off the engine except the block itself. My question is because these engines had different timing covers and reverse rotation water pumps, what do i do in order to make it work with my setup? Can i just put on a normal 302 timing cover and water pump or do i have to use the correct timing cover and water pump or what??? I need the dipstick in the front since this is going into my 65 so i dont know what to do if i have to use the stock timing cover. I know everything else on this engine is not a problem but im really stuck on this one. thanks for the help guys

the block is exactly the same as the older versions, you just need to start from scratch and build it from the block out.

just also keep in mind that the 94 motors had hypereutectic pistons, and will not favor boost or high compression very well

You are thinking along correct lines.
Use early 302 timing cover with dipstick and fuel pump eccentric.
Plug the dipstick hole in 95 block.
Use early oil pan.
Get a custom grind cam from Comp (doesn't require special steel gear on distributor) that is suited for carb use.
Nothing to it...
