please help i might trade the 5.0
im thinking on trading my 89 gt conv 5,0 to a friend for a 75 chevy short bed 4wd, 7-9" lift 38" super swampers.; but heres the goodies, it had a fully built big block 396. it puts down around 450 hp. should i??

mac headers,o/r h pipe, 4:10's, mac underdrive pullies, k&n, ford racing hd trans and clutch, pro 5.0 shifter, alum drive shaft, factory engine wit 140K miles. oh and a 5" liftoff cowl hood and cobra wing, just had it painted "dodge viper white" . he had close to 7000 dollars in the 396.

damn man if i was you i would stick with the GT you are going to get my looks in the GT i am tellin ya. Ladies love em. And they are fun as hell to drive and look good in.

You can keep the stang and if you want a off roader buid one it can be done on a budjet! I have 1200 in my cj-7 with lift,tires,shocks,wheels and that includes buying it!!

Not to mention your going to hate the gas mileage that you get with the truck.Plus it's a 1975 truck,what else is going to go wrong with it?He may have put some money into the engine but what about the rest of the truck?
